Malta – May 22, 2026 – Latitude, a global mobility advisory firm specializing in residency and citizenship planning, today announced a significant strategic M&A milestone as Vertex Alliance joins the Latitude Group, marking Latitude’s entry into a focused phase of strategic expansion.
Vertex Alliance and its team have joined the Latitude Group and are aligning their advisory activities under the Latitude Group brand, subject to applicable regulatory approvals and licensing requirements for certain services.
This development is intentionally positioned as a joining of forces, bringing together complementary expertise, aligned values, and a shared long-term vision for clients and partners.
The move reflects Latitude’s response to evolving client needs. Internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs, and exceptional talent are increasingly seeking senior-led, long-term advisory support that extends well beyond residency or citizenship outcomes alone. As jurisdictions such as Malta expand initiatives linked to citizenship by merit and national-interest projects, advisory work increasingly demands deep expertise, institutional coordination, and fully integrated execution.
Group CEO Eric Major commented:
“This is an important milestone for Latitude. By joining forces with Vertex, we are strengthening our advisory depth and reinforcing our long-term vision – to be a trusted, independent platform for clients, partners, and institutions who value experience, discretion, and execution over scale.”
By joining forces, Latitude enhances its ability to deliver bespoke, white-glove advisory solutions across the full client lifecycle. The combined platform will coordinate all critical services in-house, including residency and citizenship advisory, international tax structuring, property and business advisory, doing business in Malta, and lifestyle, education, and family support.
Where services are regulated, they continue to be delivered through the relevant authorized entities until all regulatory approvals and license transfers are completed.
This integrated model ensures consistency, discretion, accountability, and superior client experience, which is particularly important for clients navigating complex, sensitive, and multi-jurisdictional planning.
Group COO Ryan Darmanin said:
“Clients trust us with some of the most sensitive personal, financial, and family decisions they will ever make. This joining of forces strengthens our ability to support them not just at the point of residency or citizenship, but for years thereafter. Our focus is clear – positioning Latitude as the platform of choice for top global talent and specialist advisors.”
The joining of forces also strengthens Latitude’s global reach. While Latitude has built a strong direct-to-client business, Vertex Alliance has cultivated deep relationships with professional firms and institutions across Asia, India, and the Middle East. This complementary reach enhances Latitude’s position as a trusted advisory partner for intermediaries and institutions worldwide. All regulated services are provided in accordance with local licensing and regulatory requirements.
As part of the integration, Kenneth Camilleri joins the Latitude Group Board and senior leadership team as Chief Strategic Partnerships, reinforcing the Group’s institutional relationships and long-term partner strategy.
“What attracted me to Latitude is the shared belief that advisory excellence comes from people, relationships, and long-term thinking,” added Kenneth.
“I am proud of the team we have built and delighted that our clients and partners will benefit from a broader, deeper advisory platform under one roof.”
The strategic integration is underway. Clients and partners are actively being advised through coordinated teams across the Latitude Group, with regulated services continuing under existing licenses pending regulatory approval.
Latitude’s leadership emphasized that this milestone is not about growth for growth’s sake.
“Latitude does not aim to be the largest firm in the sector, but rather one of the most experienced and trusted advisory platforms for clients, partners, and governments alike,” added CEO Eric Major.
This philosophy underpins Latitude’s broader strategy – collaboration over consolidation, alignment over absorption, and long-term execution over short-term expansion.
Note: Certain services referenced in this announcement are subject to regulatory approval and licensing requirements. Nothing herein should be construed as representing that any regulated activity is being conducted outside of the relevant authorized entities.
