Latitude Partners With Nolcha Shows at 2023 Miami Art Week

2023 Miami Art Week saw Florida’s beautiful people congregate at a lively collection of events. It was the place to be seen and Latitude made sure we were there, by collaborating with Nolcha Shows.

There was substance to go with the style as Miami Art Week bridges the gap between artists, collectives, and galleries and collectors, culture vultures, and HNWIs.

Art Basel Beach Party at 2023 Miami Art Week

Art Basel Miami Beach is one of the highlights of Miami Art Week. This year was no exception. 2023 Miami Art Week started as it meant to continue.

It kicked off on a wild night at SLS South Beach Miami’s Hyde Beach. Guests partied around the pool at this oceanfront location on December 6, 2023. Here, Nolcha Shows: Web3 Edition offered a night of immersive innovation.

Latitude Caribbean Managing Director Christopher Willis was in attendance at an event we sponsored, along with our partners Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Unit, Moon Gate Antigua, Orience, and Select Anguilla. 

He was blown away by the explosion of colour and sound, featuring digital canvases, mixed-media art, and live physical paintings. 

Christopher explains the appeal of associating with such an event: “Looking around me was like seeing our client base in microcosm and that’s what makes Nolcha Shows and Latitude such a perfect fit.”

“Guests comprised the world’s achievers, the high-fliers. Nevertheless, they look to Residency and Citizenship by Investment to find solutions. Even the most assured and confident individuals need a helping hand sometimes.”

The curated art was produced by 40+ artists, with Marvel star Vincent D’Onofrio creating a triptych of Poetic Cinematic Fine Art. It also included four works of art from patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. FFFACE.me debuted an augmented reality mirror activation.

Ricardo Ralph Lopez took charge of the entertainment which included a special appearance from Grammy Award-winning producer IllMind. 

Honourable mentions go out to World of Women (WoW), a partner supported by Reese Witherspoon’s production company, Hello Sunshine. The event also received celebrity endorsements from Eva Longoria, Napheesa Collier, and Shonda Rhimes.

Nolcha Shows: Ordinals Edition Day and Night

The party continued the next day at the Sagamore South Beach Hotel. The invitation stated: “Daytime till late” and again we were sponsors. Gamma.io, the leading creator launchpad and marketplace for Ordinal inscriptions, powered this all-day Bitcoin-focused event.

As well as embodying the carnival atmosphere, this function provided opportunities to learn more about NFTs at a conference. There were cosy fireside chats, specialist panels, and instructive workshops.

Speakers included Erin Redwing, Open Ordinals Institute President. Elizabeth Olson, the Head of Growth at Xverse and regular host of the Own Your Crypto podcast, also stepped up to the mike. Ragzy, one of the first artists to inscribe a bitcoin ordinal, was another to lend her voice to the event.

Poolside networking fuelled by a happy hour of complimentary cocktails followed. Live Art Installations were the brainchildren of Gretta Kruesi, J.O. Jerusalem, and Wioletta Pawluk.
