Thank you to the International Business Times for featuring Latitude in a recent article about wealthy Singaporeans seeking overseas residence.

The city-state continues to attract affluent families, multinational executives and family offices seeking political stability, a strong rule of law and one of Asia’s most sophisticated financial ecosystems.

As the country’s elite continues to grow in wealth and influence, they are also expanding and diversifying their global mobility.

According to Eric Major, Group CEO of global investment migration advisory firm Latitude Group, an increasing number of wealthy Singaporeans are seeking residence rights overseas—not because they want to leave Singapore, but because they want greater flexibility for the future, whether that be for business, leisure or a hedge against global uncertainty.

“The story is not about Singaporeans abandoning Singapore,” Major says. “It’s about creating options.”
