Joseph Camilleri

Accountant

Joseph Camilleri is a Certified Public Accountant and registered Auditor, as well as a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He holds a BSc in Business and Computing from the University of Malta and has more than 25 years of experience in audit, accounting, and taxation across a wide range of sectors. He has also spent more than five years serving as an accountant with Latitude.  

Joseph’s expertise extends to private companies across multiple industries, as well as government entities, cooperatives, and NGOs. He also has significant experience in consolidations, joint ventures, investment structures, and holding companies. 

Prior to joining Latitude, Joseph held senior leadership roles including Partner and Director at a medium-sized audit firm. In this role, he reviewed audit files, signed off financial statements under GAPSME and IFRS, and was involved in the overall business administration of the firm. 

Earlier in his career, Joseph spent more than two decades working with international auditing firms, where he gained broad experience across a diverse range of audits. His work included overseas secondments in major cities such as London, Milan, Tripoli, and San Francisco, allowing him to develop a global perspective and deepen his expertise in international auditing practices.
